Smooth, strong, and ready to conquer your day.
Prep Time 2 minutes
Brew Time 1 day
Total Time 1 day 2 minutes
Servings: 30 oz.
Calories: 2

Ingredients

  • 2.5 oz about ¾ cup coarsely ground coffee (Pro tip: Go for a dark or medium roast for maximum flavor.)
  • 30 oz 3 ¾ cups cold, filtered water (Because your taste buds deserve better than tap water funk.)

Equipment

  • 1 Asobu Cold Brew Insulated Portable Brewer  (The MVP of this operation.)
  • 1 Scale or measuring cup  (Eyeballing is for rebels—we measure for perfection.)
  • 1 Patience (The hardest ingredient to master.)

Method

1. Prep (2 minutes):
  1. Add the coarsely ground coffee to the Asobu’s filter basket.
  2. Pour in the cold water, making sure all the grounds are saturated.
  3. Give it a gentle stir if you’re feeling fancy.
2. Brew (12-24 hours):
  1. Seal the Asobu and let it steep in the fridge for 12 hours for a lighter brew or up to 24 hours for a bold, intense flavor.
  2. (Yes, patience is a virtue. But so is caffeine.)
3. Serve (1 minute of glory):
  1. Remove the filter basket, discard the grounds (or compost them—you eco-warrior, you).
  2. Pour over ice, dilute with water/milk if desired, and sip like the champion you are.
